Leaving for Nice this morning!

June 29??? NOOOOO!!

What a great day...the 3D video + the Arena, picnicking and swimming at the aquaduct, and fencing + calligraphy!!
 We ate the best ice cream in the world tonight on the square just out the hotel's front door.

Last night's amazing parade was a wonder. So many people involved and proud...and so many white horses!
 Off go Nice tomorrow!

French Breakfast, Madame?? No!

Fun bus day! Visited castle/fortress on windy hilltop!
Now in Arles...this evening, we happened upon an annual celebration here with local people in costume/dress, white horses, music....ask your sons! We were lucky to have experienced it (and crepes for some while they watched!)!

Yesterday, 6/26/13...tried to 'blog'...internet took longer than time I had... Here we are at the train station. 

LONG day of bus +train. Rocomador is a lovely quaint town with a chapel/church and ramparts cut into/along the side and atop a mountain. Our visit to

Lascaux II today (an exact copy of the originals) was quite interesting. Beautiful town with wonderful art + food at lunch, too.

Arrival in Paris (airport) on Sunday, 6/23/13

Hi, ALL!
Everyone is fine! Walking, stairs, and food take up most of the time outside of enjoying the Louvre, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, etc.!!
We were to go up in the Eiffel Tower tonight, but there was a strike....so we took a boat tour...just as we moved toward the dock to end the trip, the lighted Tower began to sparkle with so many lights like 'bling'! Beautiful!
Tomorrow is an EARLY day! Off by bus to the train....6:30 a.m. departure! Will try to upload a group pic or two tomorrow.
 The guys are terrific! Good job!

Tomorrow night is FULL MOON...
should be a beautiful night to fly!!
First student participant to translate that entire 'sentence' into FRENCH and email it to Madame Gino-Saliba by 3pm tomorrow (Saturday) will win a 'prize' on Sunday!!

Wow! 34 hours! (May be wrong...I'm an artist!!!)
I feel like I'm in that commercial...

Basically, ONE day left!!
Big errands today...picking up EUROS is at the top of the list!
